Kees de Geus

Kees de Geus

I was born in Den Helder in 1952. Married to Fenna Wolters; we have 3 beautiful daughters. Í am a Rotarian since 1988. We are living in Den Helder, a town with 58.000 inhabitants that lies on the North Sea coast and about 80 kilometers north of Amsterdam. Den Helder is known as the homebase of the Dutch Royal Navy and the off-shore industry.

Currently I am working as a projectmanager for the Dutch Tax Department, location Alkmaar.

In my spare time I like to play tennis, do some fitness, play a little bit on one of my guitars, ride my motorbike and once a week visit the (sport-)shootingclub with my youngest brother.

The Rotary GSE-program offers me an opportunity to escort young people (in the age of my own) on a unique cultural and vocational exchange . I hope that by experiencing your cultures and your way of life, by exchanging experiences and by interacting with your professionals my team and myself will have contributed to our mutual understanding and will have enjoyed every second of this once-in-a-Teamleader lifetime-experience.
