Oosterhout, Formal Town Hall
We will pick you up at the Amsterdam Schiphol airport on Saturday 10th july and drive to Oosterhout, a small city in the southern part of Holland. At a meet&greet party you can meet your fellow travelers and your hosts during the week. You will stay with Dutch families at their homes, basicly in parties of two boys or two girls. All activities will be supported by Rotarian members or their family.

On sunday you are going to have a tour to the harbour of Drimmelen, and by boat you will explore the Biesbosch, the only freshwater tidal delta in western Europe – a challenge to find your way through the winding creeks and reed covered islands!

The Efteling Amusement Park is a Dutch Fairy tail and Rollercoaster Park. Maybe not as big as the Paris Disney World, but realy a “must” in the programm !

and exciting roaler coasters, to be visited on Tuesday.
Wednesday you will have a biking tour to farms and small old towns, which are very typical for the southern part of Holland
On Thursday you’’ll be visiting the capital of Holland : Amsterdam

On Friday you will be attending a relaxing day at a swimming pool , and at the end of the day all group and host families shall join a “time to say goodbye” party.
On Saturday we’ll escort you to Etten-Leur to start the second part of DUTCH Summertour 2010 !

The second week will start with your transfer from Oosterhout to Etten Leur, also in the South of The Netherlands.
Etten-Leur
By arrival you will meet your host family. In the evening is a BBQ The whole week is assisted by Rotary members and/or their families.
From Etten-Leur you will have several trips to Belgium.
A visit to Antwerp, the biggest harbour of Belgium is planned on Monday. The historical development of Antwerp as a harbour and trade centre in Belgium was about the same age as Amsterdam. So it will be nice to compare these two cities.

On Tuesday there is going to be a Beach and Action program, so another day to relax in the sun and the water. The next couple of days will be organized in the Belgium Ardennen. This is a mountain area with many challenges, so you’ll be attending a two day survival tour.

On Friday there is going to be a cultural Van Gogh Tour in Zundert, not far from Etten-Leur. This small town was the place of birth of Vincent van Gogh, a famous painter of Holland.

Friday night will be the farewell party, together with the host families.
Saturday 24th july your summer tour has become to end, and you will be transferred to Amsterdam Schiphol or depart destination to go back home!
Transport - if you travel:
by air –arrival at and departure from Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport
by train - arrival and departure at Utrecht CS and by bus - arrival and departure at Utrecht Central station.
Rotarians will meet you where you will arrive and bring you from where you will depart.
